2026 Show Information

Welcome to the 2026 Upper Hunter Beef Bonanza. This year we are gearing up for what will be another exciting event. Our drive to provide an innovative and leading educational experience for all participants is at the forefront of our program, we are sincerely looking forward to hosting everyone at White Park, Scone NSW from the 22nd-25th of October 2026. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us!
Thank you and we will see you soon!

The Upper Hunter Beef Bonanza is a non-for-profit event run by a group of keen and enthusiastic agricultural industry professionals. Many of our committee members were past students that, like many of our current event participants, started their journey as a school competitor at events just like the Upper Hunter Beef Bonanza. We are fortunate to have a committee so passionate about giving back to the next generation of cattle enthusiasts.

Since inception in 2006, the increasing popularity of the Upper Hunter Beef Bonanza has far exceeded expectations. We are very proud of the event that we offer each year, annually in October, as it engages networks between countless industry professionals and the young people that will shape the future of our industry. The true success of the Upper Hunter Beef Bonanza is not only owed to the committee for organising the event, but also to the immensely generous support of our sponsors over the years. Without the backing and encouragement of those who sponsor, our event would not have been able to grow to the size and scale that it is today.

The 2025 event was an outstanding success with excellent entries including 420 prime cattle, 102 heifers and 730 paraders and junior judges. More than $30,000 in cash and prizes was given away at the 2025 event. The Upper Hunter Beef Bonanza consists of open led cattle classes and carcase competition, open unled prime classes and carcase competition, interactive unled judging display, junior meat judging competition, junior judging, paraders competitions, careers evening and a full day dedicated to educational workshops. In 2025 we introduced the inaugural School Steer Shootout and the Community Chest Jackpot Competition, which will again return in 2026.
